• Shellac(lacq) polish is used on all parts of the instrument. Shellac is a very difficult and expensive type of polish to use. That is why it is used very rarely.  The shellac polishing of this instrument took 2 months.
  
• Special Bridge: You can raise or lower string action easily. On a Standard oud you cannot raise or lower the bridge, a special bridge system was used for this Lavta.
